UWW safety intern fair is full (thank you!)

UW-Whitewater Safety Interns are in high-demand. Every semester, there are more internship opportunities for students than students to fill them.

The best way to attract the top student prospects is to come to campus and meet them face-to-face. The fall 2017 Internship Fair is scheduled for Friday, Oct 6th from 1-4PM in the Old Ballroom of the University Center on the beautiful UW-Whitewater campus. We are anticipating over 20 students looking for a spring capstone safety internship, and over 25 students looking for a summer capstone internship. If you are unable to host a capstone (graduating senior) intern, we typically have 30-40 non-seniors looking for summer safety internship opportunities. All considered, we anticipate over 80 safety students attending the fair on Oct 6th.

For companies desiring a booth, you will receive a 18″ x 48″ table and two chairs. If you need electricity and/or wifi, please let us know after you register. You can begin set-up at noon on Friday, Oct 6th. Booth assignments will be done on a first-come, first serve basis. Here’s a proposed layout of the room that will host our internship fair:

Registration is FREE. If you need assistance with hauling, set-up, and tear-down, there’s a option for hiring a student worker to you ($30 for the day).

We are asking for donations to the Student Safety Organization (SSO) and sponsorship for fair food and beverages. See options below, payments can be made with a credit card to PayPal (you do not need a PayPal account), or checks can be made to “ASSE/UWW-SSO”
