OSHA’s New Silica Standard and Dustless Tools

Attendees will learn a brief history of OSHA’s Silica regulation, where it came from and a full understanding of the ways to be compliant. Attendees will also have the option to actually use the dustless tools that we are referring to during the presentation.

Speaker:  Matt Trackwell, Regional Manager (Wisconsin), Hilti North America

Matt is a graduate of Business administration from Central Washington University, and worked at Hilti for over 10 years. During his time, he has held multiple roles all with increased responsibility. Due to the nature of his business, he took a special interest in the OSHA regulations regarding silica and have done presentations for trade groups, owners of buildings and contractors.
